Hey guys- this is a work in progress, but I recently tried to get the bountiful harvest achievement, and was surprised to learn that the buffs and bonuses did not stack or apply to the resources in the way I thought they would. Here's just a bit of what I have learned. As I play more and crunch more numbers, I may update this.
The in-game info screen and descriptions of the buffs allude to the belief that the buffs will simply add up and stack, to multiply your total resource output for each/specific resource. This is NOT the case, however.
So as it would appear, here's a couple of things I've learned:
Here's an example of how the math works out. Given your own buff and bonus levels, and resource levels, your results will differ, but the process is the same.
1. Alliance and Technology bonuses MULTIPLY together to create the base number modifier:
45% * 25%
= (1.45 * 1.25)
= 1.8125
2. This modifier applies only to the total number of city-generated resources:
(7100*3) + 7800 = 29100 City Resources
29100 * 1.8125
= 51475 total city food resources
3. Wild resources do not receive a direct, specific bonus:
4. The extra buffs ADD together to create the total resources modifier:
50% + 20%
= 70%
= 1.7
5. Add the total city and wild resources together, and multiply the sum by the extra buff modifier:
51475 + 420000
= 471475
471475 * 1.7
=801507.5
(it has been my experience that the game rounds down no matter what, but it shouldn't come close enough to matter)
(If any of my number-crunching is incorrect, feel free to let me know. I've run myself in circles over figuring out this system. Also, there may be other buffs that don't apply within these rules, but I am new to the game and have not encountered them yet.)

So as it would appear, here's a couple of things I've learned:
1. City-generated resources and wild-generated resources are valued differently when it comes to resource multipliers.
2. Alliance and Technology bonuses only apply to your city's building output.
3. Wild-generated resources do not receive a specific, direct buff.
4. SAVE your 50% Resource Bonus Pack until you're ready to complete all 4 achievements within the 7 days the buff lasts. Without this 50%, the achievement will be much, much more difficult to complete.

Resources:
3 L15 farms & 1 L16 farm: (7100*3) + 7800 = 29100 City Resources
4 L19 wild farms: (105000*4) = 420000 Wild Resources
Active Buffs/Bonuses:
45% Agricultural Technology
25% Alliance Bonus Resources
50% Resource Bonus Pack (in buffs menu)
20% Food Bonus (in buffs menu)
